Smart
In Europe, Smarts are smart. Parking in the cities is almost non-existent, and laws allow them to be parked nose-to-curb in parallel spaces. Plus, fuel costs twice what it does in America. This is not to say that Smarts are not smart in the U.S., but it also cannot come as a surprise that the aptly named two-passenger Fortwo has struggled to gain traction in the States. A new electric version is set to arrive soon. Perhaps that will prove to be a smart move.
