NEW MOREY EVANS TV SPOTS AIR FOR VEHIX.COM

DENVER – September 2, 2006 – Three new commercials began airing for automotive online buying service, Vehix.com. Supported with over $240 million in cable media, the spots brand the site as a more fun way to shop for cars.

"As much as 80% of car buyers use the Internet for their research," states Morey Evans Account Director, Krista Nicholson. "The marketing challenge for an automotive buying site is not awareness of the medium's utility, but differentiation. In that context, we are positioning Vehix as a more enjoyable brand experience."

"Vehix continues to expand its online offering," Nicholson explains. "Compared to the volume of static content on many automotive websites, we have refined Vehix to be richer and more engaging interactively."

The new creative work for the Vehix brand uses simple logic and stylish production to convey that fun message. All three spots revolve around the copy statement: "Cars are fun. Shopping for them should be, too."

In one spot, a group of teenagers executes a giggling fire drill at a rural stoplight. In another, a four year old boy is awed by his first ride through an automatic car wash. The third spot shows a woman and her dog, both enjoying the open road in her convertible.

Creative Director, Tom Evans, sees the spots as representing how there's plenty of joy in the way cars and life can intersect. According to Evans, the agency "wanted to attach some of that fun and friendliness to the Vehix brand in a dramatic and memorable way."

The spots end with an animated sequence of online video and interactive features demonstrated on the Vehix website.

The advertising will run entirely on cable systems in 68 markets throughout the U.S. including 18 of the top 25 markets. Vehix, based in Salt Lake City, partners with cable companies to drive leads to automotive retailers who buy cable advertising schedules.
