1.  How can I select multiple search criteria?
The Vehix.com search format allows you to individually select multiple criteria to drill down and find the make/model vehicle you seek. We also offer an “Advanced” search tool for New and Used Car Searches that allows you to specify the Year and Price ranges as well as other criteria.

From either of these pages click the “Advanced” button and select the appropriate search criteria.

2.  I have a list for search results, how do I filter my results?
The best way to filter your search results is by using the “Refine Your Search” column to the left of the search results page. At the top of this column will be a box that shows the refinements that you’ve already made with the options to further refine your search below. You can refine the Model, Price, Year, Mileage, MPG, Color, Seller Type, and Category that you searched for. There are additional search options below the Refine Your Search column under the “Advanced” section provided, including a keyword search textbox that is handy when searching for wheelchair accessible vehicles, snow plow vehicles or any other vehicle that would easily be filtered by a specific keyword.

3.  Does Vehix display the listing dates of their ads?
Vehix does not display listing date of ads posted on Vehix.com. You may use the “By Listing Date” filter under the Advanced filter options on the left side of your search results.

4.  Why can’t I find a listing for a car older than 1981?
The Vehix system does not support vehicles older than 1981 because we do not have accurate VIN information for validation purposes.

5.  Do you have listings for motorcycles or RVs?
Currently we do not offer no listings for motorcycles or RVs. We may add this feature in the future. 

6.  I selected a listing that promotes “Get a CARFAX Record Check.” Why do I have to pay to see the entire report? 
 CARFAX offers three types of reports:

  • Free CARFAX Record Check:  This report tells you how many total records are associated with this vehicle.  However, you much purchase a CARFAX Report to see the details associated with this vehicle.
  • Free CARFAX Report: A dealer purchased this vehicle history report and you can view this report and all details completely free.  No purchase required.
  • 1-Owner Vehicle Free Report:  A dealer purchased this vehicle history report about a 1-owner vehicle.  You can view this report and all details completely free.  No purchase required.
