2012 Super Bowl Car Ads

The Super Bowl has come and gone and USA Today has named the best commercials, according to their Ad Meter. For the first time, USA Today had consumers instead of experts choose the winners in the 2012 USA Today/Facebook Super Bowl Ad Meter.

Car makers were once again the most significant advertisers, and they collectively secured four of the top 10 highest-rated ads (number one was Doritos “Sling Baby” spot).

We had our favorites, including sentimental choices like Jerry Seinfeld trying to buy rights to own the first Acura NSX and Matthew Broderick channeling Ferris Bueller to promote the Honda CR-V.

But the big winner was the much buzzed-about “Halftime in America” featuring Clint Eastwood.

We’ve listed the 10 Top-Rated Super Bowl Car Commercials of the 2012 Super Bowl and included clips of the spots below. Enjoy!

1. Chrysler – It’s Halftime in America

2. Kia – A Dream Car for Real Life

3. Volkswagen – Dog Strikes Back

4. Audi – Vampire Party

5. Chevrolet – Happy Grad

6. Chevrolet – Silverado

7. Acura – Seinfeld Transactions

8. Honda – CR-V’s Day Out

9. Fiat – Seduction

10. Hyundai – Cheetah
