Parking is best left to the drivers who are willing to practice first. This is a big vehicle and the window sills are fairly high. Taking time to learn dimensions is a smart plan for the newbie Ram driver. I highly recommend the rear/back-up camera and the rear parking assistance sensors as the tailgate is rather high.
The Dodge Ram is a phenomenal vehicle that usurps many of the foibles of ponderous pickup trucks of day’s past. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Ram and have enjoyed watching the Dodge Ram 1500 gain so many awards from several publications including Car and Driver’s Editor’s Choice. I agree with the sentiments, without a doubt.
Although I do not consider the Dodge Ram 1500 a first choice pick for people who need to use it daily as a work-only truck (that’s best left to the 2500 and 3500), I feel it is the best personal use truck on the market. I have never experienced a more user friendly, easy to drive, fun pickup truck as I have with the Dodge Ram 1500.
If you are considering a Dodge Ram, now is an excellent time to gain a bargain. Indeed, Dodge has several incentives and large discounts for all of their vehicles. The one compelling addition to that point is the lifetime powertrain warranty they offer.
