2010 Volkswagen Passat

Scheduled for replacement by an all-new sedan in early 2010, this is the last year of the Passat (view photos) in its current form. Stripped of the 6-cylinder engine option and many of its luxury appointments when the CC arrived, the Passat receives the DSG “dual-clutch” transmission, new wheels and electronic upgrades for 2010.

• DSG “dual-clutch” transmission replaces automatic transmission
• Deleted exterior color: Cobalt Blue
• New, standard 17-inch alloy wheels
• 18-inch alloy wheels and sport suspension are optional
• Premium VIII “touchscreen” radio replaces Premium VII radio
• Standard Bluetooth phone connectivity
• New leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel
• Fog lamps are now standard on the wagon
• Rear and side sunshades have been eliminated
• Media Device Interface (MDI) with iPod cable is now a stand-alone option
